TIM STYRE is a multi-talented musician who plays keyboards, guitars and harmonica. He was born & raised in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. His parents were country musicians. Inspired to buy his first electric guitar after watching the Beatles perform on TV, he played bass in his first band: "The Saints". After which he joined "The Innkeepers" band who later won a BATTLE OF THE BANDS contest in Radville Saskatchewan. Tim also became interested in, and played the Hammond organ, which became one of his favorite instruments. He moved to Vancouver in 1969 where he continued playing with "The Innkeepers" for a short time. He went on to learn songwriting from Chad Allan of "The Guess Who" - a favorite band. He also took piano and vocal lessons. He eventually collaborated his writing and playing talents in a band called "Fun With Numbers" who later changed their name to "Vagabonds". With another classic rock band, "The Hornets" he gigged around Vancouver, the island and Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. 
LIB ALCOCK honed her vocal skills early on in her hometown of Vancouver, BC, performing in talent shows every chance she got. Her vocal quality reflects a combination of genuine emotion & charming wit, akin to K.D.Lang and a soulful attitude, similar to Vonda Sheppard. Her most memorable gig? - She had the good fortune to perform in several private country clubs in Hong Kong. After experiencing her first MUSIC WEST conference in Vancouver she was inspired to try songwriting. Her first success as a songwriter came in the 1990's when she wrote a theme song and pitched it to the coordinator of her then employer's convention. It was enthusiastically received by an audience of 300. Always open to creative expression, Lib is building a desktop publishing and design business. She designed the cover layout for Styalz latest CD.
