Karen is a multi-talented artist who has all the ingredients for stardom. Her undeniable talents are easily witnessed during her high energy performances as she captivates her audience with versatility in her vocal abilities, and musicianship on guitar and keyboards.

Attila "Novi" Novak:

"Novi" is a Canadian-Hungarian guitar virtuoso/composer/producer/engineer with over 15 years experience, including extensive touring throughout Europe, Germany, and Canada. He founded Hungary's first "official" speed metal band "Vasmacska" (as recorded in the 1988 "Rock Lexicon") at the age of 15, and his first record deal was signed at age 17. His wide recognition as a seasoned performer and showman were seen in the Vancouver bands Citizen Cane, Uncle Sid, and Taltos. He names Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Micheal Schenkner as influences.

Alex Rak:

Originally from Hamilton Ontario, Alex's talents go beyond his job as bass player. He is also a classically trained guitarist and vocalist who indulges in slide guitar and drums as well. Alex has played in numerous Vancouver bands over the past 10 years.

Ron Vaughn:

A veteran performer and showman, Ron has performed and recorded with many big names such as Heart and Doucette in his vast career. You can hear Ron on such well known Heart tunes as Crazy On You and Heartless. In addition to being a world class drummer, he is also a singer and guitarist, and has fronted bands himself. A respected studio musician, recording artist, and songwriter, Ron has appeared on numerous commercial ads, and is versatile enough to play just about anything, but admits to being strongly influenced by the school of Tommy Aldridge..

The Karen Single Band has been together and actively performing together for the last 4 years. Having performed at numerous festivals, outdoor concerts, and nightclubs, they have shared the stage with many well known bands such as: Edwin, I Mother Earth, Big Sugar, 54/40, Alannah Myles, Prism, Lee Aaron, The Headpins, Wide Mouth Mason, Jerry Lee Lewis, Blue Oyster Cult, Helix, Firehouse, Chilliwack, Pat Travers, April Wine, Moist, Limblifter, Filter, Barney Bentall, Doug and the Slugs, Glass Tiger, The Watchmen, Stonebolt, CCR, Rhymes With Orange, The Headstones, Straship, Trooper, Mathew Good Band, Nickelback, Steppenwolf, plus many, many, more...

Their first album (Wide Open) has been receiving rave reviews right across Canada. Their unique sound is reminiscent of the 80's rock, yet is refreshingly new.
