I hear music everywhere. I hear it in me and I have to sing all the time to be happy. I have been so fortunate to have had amazing singers and musicians not only working with me, but also encouraging me to listen to the music that's a very part of my being. It's not always easy for me to free the music I hear and feel inside, out to the world. I've had a tendency to hold it close...which is okay sometimes, but I'm starting to understand what a joy it is to also send it on it's way with full fanfare! It's a very freeing and wonderful experience. I also know that my musical journey has given me a taste of living 'outside the box' and it's too sweet to give up! I believe with every fiber of my being that, in one's own uniqueness is also their greatness. To me, there is a way to encourage everyone's greatness that adds, not detracts from the big picture.

As I've traveled along my musical journey, I've realized how important it is to feel personally empowered and I think my music reflects this, big time! I've realized that I want to do more than just sing a song. I want to communicate with my music. I aspire to be like the great songwriters and singers of the world. The Beatles are #1. I love the fact they were not swayed by what people said they should be like, but forged through all the fear of others and wrote amazing music without limitations. The same could be said about the other great songs & songwriters that have stood the test of time. I have very eclectic tastes in music and have grown up listening to anything from classical to hard rock. (click here for more...)
