User greets you with a bitchy dream of a bitter tomorrow planted in the forbidding rainforests of British Columbia. User takes it hard and then flows under your skin pulsating like say...Racecar music while taking a bath. Eat it up!

In April 1996, User released it's debut titled Semi-Mental Journey on the feisty Flinch label. Most of the tracks were recorded at Vancouver's landmark Profile Studios. Subsequently, the single Cyclops reached the eyes of the nation via Much Music as a very unusual eye opening video.

Revealed in the summer of 1999 User's sophomore album, The Last Days of Beauty is a battered album of love songs draped in vengeances. It was recorded using a cranked up personal computer and mixed by Vince Jones (Grapes of Wrath) at Unkle Vinkies House of Snakes in Vancouver.

Out of the hot rain forest comes their latest release Bait to tantilize and tease all your senses. Hard-rock, dark techno, trip-hop and ambient, User explores a darker beat and emerges from a bad hang over on a cold wet Vancouver day. The kind of day that is just a bit too real.
