flipswitch is a Vancouver-based rock band with a modern sound and an energetic live show. flipswitch has been compared to such bands as Incubus and Linkin Park.

• Top 10 in Vancouver's 1049 XFM's Last Band Standing contest 2003

• Opening band for Edwin and the Pressure in Mississauga Ontario (Playdium), Fall 2002

• Grand Prize Winners of Playdium Band Wars (BC + Canada). Performed with Project Wyze, Summer 2002

• Was selected to appear on the IndieBlast 2003 Compilation CD (www.indieblast.com )

• Top 10 in 1049 XFM's Last Band Standing contest 2002

• Was picked by Columbia Sportswear as one of 10 bands (out of hundreds) to appear on a compilation cd to help market their Convert line of clothing
