The Stardust Society Band can be seen in the motion picture Genius. Casting for the movie required that only part of the big band be used, which inspired the formation of the smaller band with the big band sound. Society bands were popular in the 30's, 40's, and 50's, and this band updates it's repitoire to meet tody's tastes including jazz and rock. The 8 piece Society Band enjoys return engagements with their female vocalist, and is suitable for those who want a smaller band at a lower cost. |
