Taylor and Taylor

Taylor and Talyor provide a night of great dance music, as well as entertaining the crowd with their sense of homour (Rick's raunchy Jokes????). The versatility offered by their expansive song list can provide a night of up beat country rock & old rock and roll, or a night of traditional country, old time waltzes and polkas and a banjo to liven things up! Requests are welcomed and interaction is srongly encouraged!

Rick and Joanne both sing lead vocals as well as strong harmones. (With 18 years of practice, they are even on key for the most part) Joanne plays a mean lead guitar ("The best dang lady geetar player from the west Kootenays"), and plays keyboards as well. Rick plays the second meanest guitar in this band, and in addition, he plays 5 string banjo as well, which always gets hands clappin' and feet stompin'!

Fully armed with their Korg X2 synthesizer, which plays drums, bass, piano, strings, fiddle, pedal steel, pads, harmonica and at least 400 other things that have absolutely no use in this country band, they sound like at least a 4 peice band if not more! One of the most frequent comments made by bar staff is that their volume is appreciated, and they do turn down if asked, but they do have 800 watts to crank it up if needed.

Rick and Joanne have travelled extensively throughout Western Canada, walked in the misnight sun of the North West Territories, and serenaded folks on the southern side of the US border. Working on their 19th year together, they still have only one goal in life and music, and that is to have fun!
