My Sister Ocean is an alternative rock band based out of Vancouver and Edmonton. They have played many Sunday nights at Obrynes Irish Pub in Edmonton, always bringing an enthusiastic reaction to their performance. The band is always trying to find new avenues of recording methods, and all of their work so far has been recorded by themselves. Aside from being multi-instrumentalists (Dan plays piano, guitar and drums on some of their recordings!) this is a band that acts as a whole band. The input for all of their songs is equal, and a lot of their music is also written while it is recorded.
