Darwin Marsh is a cool rock band from Vancouver BC. They specialize in beautiful yet simple guitar work, versatile vocals, and solid drumming. The name Darwin Marsh is a funny little play on the term primordial soup. This band can get quite dreamy at times. Comparisons have been made to Jeff Buckley, Chet Baker, Tragically Hit, Soul Coughing etc...But never mind that. See for yourself eh.

Darwin Marsh has been assembled by Max Arnason, who sings and plays guitar. Other projects include Technicians, and Thee High Prophets. In the past Max has worked with bands such as CHE Chapter 127, Farmer In The City, Sean MacDonald, and Kym Brown.

Guests that also play in Darwin Marsh are Mark Szumigalski, Mark Brichon, Stuart Eirikson, Karen Davies, as well as Mark Shepherdson and Exu Oijen of Technicians.
