Cherelle Jardine comes on with the rocking intensity of Sas Jordan and occasionally reminds the listener of vocal styles as varied as Chrissy Hynde, Carlene Carter and Sheryl Crow. It is more accurate to say that Jardine possesses the talent to become as successful as the above mentioned females to world wide music lovers. Singer, songwriter, arranger, producer."Perseverance pays off, if you believe enough in yourself." Cherelle exemplifies that. She's a strong determined woman, who loves what she does, and has every intention of succeeding.

The road towards a musical career began early for Toronto born Cherelle Jardine. At eight she was introduced to the piano at a friend's house and she was hooked. At fourteen she wrote her first song and three years later she began to play guitar.
Bleeding Water is the 3rd CD in Cherelle's body of work. The new album is a departure for Cherelle, at least in terms of her development as a musician and as a storyteller. Cherelle retains the pop/rock sound her fans are familiar with, but adds a bolder mix of lyrical worldliness and emotional vision. Co-written with John Peacox, Cherelle has brought in some of the most respected names in Canada's music community to help interpret her new songs: Bazil Donovan (Blue Rodeo), David Sinclaire (Sarah McLachlan) Gerry Adolphe (Chilliwack, Jim Burns), Robbie Steininger (Megan Metcalfe), Steve Hall (Farmers Daughters).
